Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church

Mission:
To reach out to the hurt, sick and afflicted, as well as doing our part as servants to bring others to Christ.

"Deaconess" means "to serve." A deaconess is a woman who serves as a support to the pastor and his ministry. Her service always involves sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of human kindness. The deaconess ministry consist of competent and dedicated women who serve the Lord and his people by providing spiritual care and keeping God first. 

We assist the pastor and deacons by helping Baptismal candidates prepare for baptism and preparing the table for the Lord Supper at communion services. We also, visit and sit with bereaved families during their time of loss and assist them with whatever they may need during that time.

Although, we work in a variety of ministries, our goal is to always share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our acts of human kindness.
