 Reverend Charlie Jefferson, after running for many years finally answered his call from God to spread the Gospel in 1980. In his quest for knowledge he pursued his ministerial training at Southern Baptist Institute.
He currently serves as an instructor to Sunday School teachers every Tuesday evening and teaches an Adult Women's Sunday School class every Sunday morning. Rev. Jefferson states, "All his efforts are focused on pointing man to the way to Christ." |

 Reverend Darnell Robinson
Reverend Robinson, Sr. has been the youth minister for Morning Star for over two years. Since his appointment by Pastor C.L. Taylor, he has made positive impacts in the lives of numerous youth involved in the church.
He is a native of Lake Providence, Louisiana and has been married to Sister Jennifer Robinson for over seven and a half years. They have two beautiful children that also attend Morning Star and are actively involved in the Youth Ministry.
