The Youth of Morning Star |

Reverend Darnell Robinson, Sr. has been the youth minister of Morning Star since 2006. Since his appointment by Pastor C.L. Taylor, he has made positive impacts in the lives of numerous youth involved in the church. Under his leadership, Morning Star youth have expanded to over 100 in size. Although, some have graduated and moved on to college, many remain and continue to grow spiritually in the name of the Lord. Reverend Robinson has made a commitment to help continue this growth. The youth continue to go on spiritually enlightening field trips and involve themselves in the community of Dalworth and volunteer for non-profit organizations in the Arlington and Grand Prairie areas. Reverend Robinson is joined by several youth ministry volunteers including his wife (Youth Director), Jennifer Robinson.Reverend Darnell Robinson is a native of Lake Providence, Louisiana and is married to Sister Jennifer Robinson. They have Three beautiful children. |

Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Robinson the youngest of ten born to the late Jake and Juanita Williams on July 28, 1970 in Monroe, Louisiana. She is married to the MSMBC Youth Minister, Rev Darnell Robinson, Sr. and they have three children. Kailonie, Jakayla and DJ. Mrs. Robinson was baptized at the age of 8 by Rev. Simmons of Rising Sun Baptist Church in Louisiana. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Magna Cum Laude) in 1992 at Grambling State University and teaching for four years, Mrs. Robinson and her family relocated to Texas where she continued teaching 5 th grade elementary. In 2002, Mrs. Robinson obtained her 1 st Master degree of Education specializing in Reading from Texas Woman’s University and recently obtained her 2 nd Master degree of Administrative Leadership from the University of North Texas in 2009. After several committed years as a Youth Worker within the MSMBC Youth Department Ministry with husband and Youth Minister, Rev. Darnell Robinson, Sr., she is now fulfilling a new mission serving as the Youth Director. Ms. Robinson brings years of experience overseeing children and implementing educational objectives to help children excel. She is an active member of Morning Star teaching the Preteens during Sunday School and Youth Church, teaching Wednesday Night Bible Study, serving with the Sanctuary, Mission, and Young Adult Choir, and is also a Deaconess. Mrs. Robinson’s dedication to Morning Star is apparent in every activity she has involved herself with. She is constantly striving to strengthen her ministry and walk with God. She serves as a true servant of God who humbles herself and allows God to direct her path. She has been and will continue to be a blessing to the MSMBC Youth Department Ministry. |
